The Alpha-Numeric Transducer (ANT) instrument provides a direct complement to the LRI instrument and will typically be used where there is physical symptomology and pathology. The ANT instrument may provide a stronger 'grip' than LRI on the patient's Subtle Bodies at the denser energetic levels. The Alpha-Numeric Transducer Auto-Manual instrument may be operated manually, with potencies set by the practitioner, or automatically, with the potencies set by the instrument, or in a combined mode allowing manual adjustment of the potency setting for some cards with automatic adjustment of potency for others. The instrument is also pulsed, and a CD with various pulse tones is provided. The tones are played into the instrument and greatly enhance the power of the treatment. The ANT instrument will read a variety of different types of Radionic codes effectively: 1. Alpha-Numeric cards - a small range of cards is under development. Alpha-Numeric cards provide targeted treatment to specific Location and Factor problems, e.g. Liver - Toxins; Lymphatic system - Poisons, Physical-Etheric Body - Distortion; and so on. 2. Programmable cards, which can be charged by LRI with a vast range of remedy patterns, such as homoeopathic, gem, mineral, herb, flower, plant, colour and other quanta. 3 . Magneto-Geometric (Rae) cards;4. Radionic rates, if printed or written on a card of suitable size; 5. text written in standard languages, such as English (wording must be accurate); 6. photographs and symbols, where appropriate 7. other patterns which may be used in Radionic instruments The ANT instrument is therefore a comprehensive Radionic broadcaster which allows a wide variety of different approaches to be used, singly or in combination, according to the practitioner's approach. The ANT system, used properly, will also tend to augment the effectiveness of most other types of treatment, sometimes even orthodox medical treatments. The ANT cards may also be used in Bio-Resonance instruments.
A FEW GENERAL COMMENTS ON RADIONIC INSTRUMENTS According to Radionics, the human Subtle Energy field may be described as having different levels or planes, i.e. Mental Plane, Astral Plane, Physical-Etheric plane, and so forth. The physical body itself may in turn be considered to be energized and informed by the subplanes of the Physical-Etheric plane, and these may also be described as morphic or morphogenetic fields, to use Rupert Sheldrake's terminology. In the homoeopathic model symptoms experienced or displayed by the patient are the result of a dynamic mistunement of the vital force i.e. a disturbance to the normal functioning of the energy fields related to the physical organism. Thus the aim of homoeopathic treatment is to find the remedy which will effectively correct this disturbance. Broadly speaking, this approach is also used in Radionics except with a larger range of remedy types, and with a much larger and rather extensively differentiated model of the Subtle Energy field, of which the Vital Force may be considered to be a component; a third major difference is that Radionics usually gives distant treatment using codes of various types to represent the energy patterns being used. Thus patients may be located at any distance from the practitioner, who works through the universal etheric field using the patient's witness (i.e. hair sample or a dried blood spot) as a unique locator to connect the treatment to the patient - rather like a telephone number. Instruments such as ANT may be considered to be a type of sample-and-hold device to stand in for the practitioner, who otherwise could be easily exhausted by the process of having to hold a focus of intent on a number of patients. It is arguable that instruments are more effective, providing the treatment or treatments are accurately and appropriately selected, since the combination of instrument and codes forms an unwavering tuned energy node within the field. It should be emphasized that no Radionic treatment directly affects any physical system, structure or sub-structure in the organism i.e. organs, cells, tissues etc. Thus they cannot be compared with allopathic or even herbal treatments, which require some form of biochemical action or interaction in order to have an effect. The treatment entrains the Subtle Anatomy (bio-energy field, dynamis etc) and changes to it may be translated into changes in the physical organism; but there is no proof of this, and no means or mechanism by which this translation occurs is known to orthodox medical science. Neither, it might be added, does orthodox medical science entertain any such concepts as the Subtle Anatomy.
A note on coding systems in Radionics Malcolm Rae proposed that analysis and treatment could be based on a system of 3 correlates, namely, Location, Factor and Correction. Thus Location is the where in the human energetic system; Factor is the type of problem; and Correction is a solution which may help resolve the problem. Rae proposed that, in essence, the practitioner poses the question ‘what is the degree of deviation from functional normality for the given Location’. This is measured as a percentage, and the results obtained from the pendulum enquiry are entered into a chart which, when completed, gives an overall picture of the patient’s state of health, considered from the energetic standpoint. These readings were typically obtained using the MGA Analyser instrument. Thus, for example, Location could be the Liver. A test of the Liver may reveal its deviation from normality to be 79%, given that a reading of 0% indicates normality and 100% tends to indicate severe problems. The practitioner will then try to find out which Factor is causing the deviation, and the result may be Toxins. Thus we would then see a reading of Liver 50% - Toxins 50%. Pendulum enquiry may then reveal that the herb Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) may detoxify the Liver and is thus a Correction. Thus the Analyser instrument may also be used to see by what amount Milk Thistle potentially reduces this toxic load. The reading might then show Liver 30% - Toxins 0% In this case we can see that potentially Milk Thistle will detoxify the Liver, but that some other factor is also affecting it - a second or even third problem has to be identified and a solution found as the reading for the Location (Liver) does not drop to zero. This process is repeated throughout the whole model of the human system used in the Analysis until the picture is complete. Certain tests are also cross-referenced, allowing the practitioner to check his or her accuracy and understanding of the patient’s situation.Virtually from its beginning Radionics used codes to differentiate one thing from another. This method was discovered by Abrams, who sought to differentiate the muscle response to cancer from that to syphilis. This was done by inserting a rheostat (variable resistance - potentiometer) into the circuit. Cancer was found at 50 Ohms and Syphilis at 55 Ohms. Thus two Rates were established, one defining each disease type. Ruth Drown later built instruments with a number of potentiometers linked together, enabling longer rates to be found. Examples of Drown rates are Lead (8341609) Brain (1332) Anxiety State (90769) Chicken Pox (6093), and so on. Rates were used almost universally until Rae developed his Magneto-Geometric system in the late 1960s. The discovery of this system is described in the important book, DIMENSIONS OF RADIONICS (see resources guide on this site). Rae found that each substance or state had a unique set of identifying characteristics which could be determined by dowsing round the edge of a circle. At certain points a pendulum rotation could be observed. These rotation points would be marked to one-degree accuracy as radials on a diagram of a circle and the resultant diagram could be used as a precise coding for the substance. Each coding system has also required its own instrument. Thus numerical rates were intimately connected with the multi-dial instruments typical of Drown and de la Warr. Rae’s Magneto-Geometric system required an entirely different design, compatible with his methodology. My experiments showed that existing instruments were not capable of translating (or transducing) the Alpha-Numeric cards to their full potential and thus the therapeutic possibility inherent in the cards could not be fully applied to the patient’s energy field. It thus became apparent that an entirely new type of instrument was required in order to benefit to their fullest extent from the new cards. However, it also became quickly apparent that the ANT is backwards-compatible with other Radionic coding systems. Thus the Alpha-Numeric instruments as a general broadcasting device came into being and was developed by me to its present stage over the period June 2002 to February 2005.
